Cayetano Badan
Cayetano Badán (c. 1735 - c. 1800) was a Spanish politician who served as the first administrator of Correo in the territories of the Spanish Louisiana.[1] He also served in Buenos Aires where he participated in the establishment of the Correo of the Río de la Plata.[2]

He was appointed to the position of Administrator of the General of the Maritime Mail of Louisiana in 1765.[3] Years later he was commissioned as Inspector of the Post and Commerce of Buenos Aires. [4]
