Champions of Change (award)
Champions of Change is an Indian award, for promoting Gandhian values, (Swachata), community service and social development.(in Aspirational district in india), selected by constitutional jury members headed by K. G. Balakrishnan Former Chief Justice of India and Former Chairman NHRC. It is given annually in four categories, and usually presented by the President, Vice president, Prime Minister of India or a leading figure.

The foundation, currently headed by Nandan Jha, was created in 2011. The award ceremony takes place every year in the month of December.[1]
The award is being given under the Transformation of Aspirational District program, in the district declared Aspirational by Prime Minister of India Shri Narendra Modi in January 2018.[2]
The programme identifies the progress of 115 'aspirational' districts whose development is being monitored by the NITI Aayog.[3] Nandan Jha is the chairman of the 'Interactive Forum on Indian Economy'.
The award comprises a certificate and a gold medal. It is given in four categories, namely:
- Constructive Work in 115 Aspirational districts in India.
- Application of Education, Healthcare, Science and Technology for Rural development.
- Outstanding contribution for the Development and Welfare of Women and Children (115 Aspirational districts )
- Outstanding contribution in Swatch Bharat Abhiyan
- International Award for promoting Gandhian values outside India.

2019 Awardees
Champions of Change Awards 2019 distributed by honorable former president of India Shri Pranab Mukherjee at Vigyan Bhavan New Delhi. Hon’ble Pranab Mukherjee will Grace the occasion as Chief Guest. The Award is aimed at honoring those who have been working for social welfare, in Aspirational Districts, the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, and for the unity of India, inspired by the vision of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat. This is organized by the Interactive Forum on Indian Economy (IFIE), which is a Govt. of India recognized non-for-profit company (80G, 12A,8A compliant) and its news magazine, Power Corridors and Panchayati Times. The Awards will be given in the following categories: Social Welfare, Culture, Education, Health Care, Swachh Bharat and Special Contribution in Aspirational Districts and National Unity. The Jury is being headed by the Former Chief Justice of India & Supreme Court Judges.[9]
