Chanakya College of Management

Chanakya is one of the legendary figures who lived around third century BC. His foresight and wide knowledge coupled with politics of expediency founded the mighty Mouryan Empire. Chanakya, also called Kautilya and Vishnugupta, was a professor at Takshashila University. His works Chanakya Neeti, Arthashastra and Neetishastra provide a testimony of his expertise in warfare, economics, foreign policy and commerce. The school's educators recognize Chanakya's principles.

Foundation and prospects

Chanakya is the advanced form of the Modern College of Management, which has made a contribution in the educational field in Bhaktapur since 2010. Now, with its transformed name, Chanakya serves as a full-fledged institution to pupils from playgroup to master's level. Under the aegis of Chanakya educators, Chanakya Higher Secondary School imparts education from kindergarten to twelfth grade with separate management and block for +2level.

Chanakya College of Management, with affiliation to Tribhuvan University, runs a Bachelor of Business Studies (BBS) programme. It has started a Master of Business Studies (MBS) programme.

Location

The college is close to the six-lane Araniko Highway at Shankhadhar Chowk, Madhyapur Thimi-4, Bhaktapur. There is easy access for students from Kavre, Bhaktapur, Kathmandu and Lalitpur.
