Charles Oetling

Charles Oetling (September 11, 1810 March 15, 1879[1]) was an American farmer and politician.

Born in the Kingdom of Hanover, Oetling emigrated to the United States in 1841 settling first in New York City and then, in 1847, settled in the town of Herman in Sheboygan County, Wisconsin. Oetling was a farmer and served a justice of the peace. In 1863 and 1871, Oetling served in the Wisconsin State Assembly and was a Democrat.[2][3]
