Chesterfield Urban Area

The Chesterfield Urban Area is an urban area centered around the town of Chesterfield in Derbyshire, England. The urban area includes parts of the Bolsover District, parts of the Derbyshire Dales and parts of North East Derbyshire. The urban area is covered by the M1 Motorway and the A61, A617 and A619 Roads where they join near the center of Chesterfield. The urban area includes the towns of Bolsover, Clay Cross, Dronfield, Eckington and Staveley. The urban area has a population of 114,168.[1] This area is based around the aforementioned roads and the proximity of each of the towns and villages to Chesterfield. The villages of Grassmoor, Holymoorside, Old Whittington and Wingerworth are located close to the town but remain separate to from the borough of Chesterfield.[2][3][4][5][6]
