Song Trivia

In the song "En Kanmani",[4] Ilayaraaja has used a very complex and intricate musical technique called 'counter point'. It can be explained as, two voices singing alternatively, one word at a time. The summation of word sung separately by each of them give separate meanings. As well as, the summation of words sung by both taken in a sequence give another meaning. In the Pallavi, Sivakumar and his alter-ego(or soul) sing alternatively. (Followed by the lady voices) No one else in Indian Music used this technique ever, in Indian Music.

All tracks are written by Vaali[5].
