Chlodoswintha

Chlodoswintha (6th-century – fl. 502) was a Frankish princess, and possibly a Visigoth queen consort by marriage to king Reccared I.[1]

She was the daughter of Sigebert I and Brunhilda of Austrasia. She was first bethrothed to Authari, but the negotations was discontinued. Secondly, she was engaged to Reccared I. However, it is disputed whether this marriage materialized in the end.
