Christopher Watson (musician)

Christopher Watson is an American musician and designer.

Christopher Watson, born in Austin, Texas on Dec. 3, 1982, began his career as an audio engineer and touring musician. At 17, Watson had toured the United States and Europe as both a full-time member and session musician with numerous national recording artists.

Most recent artists that Watson toured with were The Independents (Myrtle Beach, South Carolina), Roger Miret & the Disasters (New York City, New York) and Crash Gallery (Austin, Texas).

In 2005 Watson began transitioning focus from the music industry to the design world. Watson took pictures, as well as designing promotional pieces, for many of the artists he had previously toured with.

In 2009 Watson worked as a freelance artist, commissioned to design album art and apparel leading to establishing Christopher Watson [design] in 2011. Since then, Watson has won awards for excellence in design including 2 time winner of Site of the Day from Adobe Systems (creators of Photoshop).[1]

Current status

Watson currently resides in New York City, where he has expanded Christopher Watson [design] into a turnkey solutions, marketing & development agency.
