Cindelaras

Cindelaras is a figure of East Java folklore.[1] The son of Raden Putra,[2] his mother was exiled from Janggala Kingdom because she was blamed for the poisoning of the king's concubine.[2] She gave birth to a young boy. The boy, named Cindelaras, found an egg that was dropped by an eagle. He took care of the egg that hatched to become a rooster. That rooster could talk. It also killed all the other roosters in a cockfight. The king who heard of the news, challenged Cindelaras in another cockfight. When Cindelaras's rooster won, it started talking about Raden Putra being Cindelaras's father. Raden Putra was shocked to discover this, and picked up the queen from the forest where she was exiled. They lived happily together, as for the concubine she was imprisoned (some other sources said that the concubine exiled herself because of embarrassment).[1]
