Clafasio Dias

Clafasio Dias is an Indian politician of the Bharatiya Janata Party who represents Cuncolim in Goa Legislative Assembly.[1] He won by Defeating Sitting MLA Rajan Naik of BJP and Ex MLA Joaquim Alemao of Independent.He was Zilla Panchayat Member, Sarpanch and Chairperson of South Goa Zilla Panchayat.

He was one of the ten members of Indian National Congress who joined Bharatiya Janata Party in July 2019.[2][3]

He is being appointed as a Chairperson of Mormugao Planning Development Authority (MPDA).

Personal life

Clafasio Dias is Married to Seema Dias. She was Zilla Panchayat {ZP} Member which earlier Clafasio represented. she is the owner of Jolly Constructions which undertakes PWD Contracts on Roads. Clafasio and Seema are blessed with 3 Sons
