Claire Etaugh

Claire Etaugh is the dean of the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences at Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois.

Etaugh received her bachelor's degree from Barnard College and her Ph.D. in developmental psychology from the University of Minnesota.[1]

Education

Career

Etaugh is professor of psychology, co-director of the Child Study Center, dean of the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, and interim provost and vice president for academic affairs, all at Bradley University. She has served in numerous other positions at Bradley, including associate dean of the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, director of the Master of Liberal Studies Program, acting associate dean of the graduate school, acting director of the Office for Research and Sponsored Program, and many others.

At Bradley University, Etaugh has served on over 25 committees. She remains contributing to University Senate, Campus Internationalization Advisory Committee, Academic Regulations and Degree Requirements Committee, and Strategic Planning Committee for the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences.

Etaugh has published over 100 articles in such journals as Developmental Psychology, Child Development, Psychology of Women, Sex Roles, and the American Psychologist. She also is the author of four books in the fields of developmental psychology and the psychology of women.

She is a member of the board of directors of the Girl Scouts of the USA and the YWCA.
