Climate of Sochi

Sochi, is a city in Krasnodar Krai, Russia, located on the Black Sea coast has a humid subtropical climate (Köppen climate classification Cfa), with warm rainy winter and sunny warm summer.

The territory of Sochi contains many microclimates, the daytime temperatures can vary as much as 10 °C between coastal areas in Adler and Lazarevsky compared with Krasnaya Polyana.

The hottest temperature recorded in Sochi was 38.4 °C (101.1 °F) on July 30, 2000. The lowest temperature was −13.4 °C (7.9 °F) on January 25, 1892 and −7.3 °C (18.9 °F) on January 4, 2016 since 2001.
