History

The company was founded in 1981 named 'NIIT Ltd.[5] In 2006, the company acquired UK Insurance Solutions Company. In the same year company partnerred with Adeco SA.[6] In 2008, the company signed a multi million pounds deal with British Airways.[7]

In 2012, Indian Tobacco Board Government of Andhra Pradesh joined hands with the company for the implementation of e-auction system in Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh.[8][9]

In Sep 2012, the company launched Crew Wings, an application for Airline Cabin Crew Members.[10]

2012 company acquired Sabre Philippines Development Center.[11]

As per the report the company having 11000 employees till 2020.[2]

In 2020, NIIT Technology was re-branded as Coforge.[1][12]
