Cotton Development Board
Cotton Development Board or CDB is an autonomous national body responsible for the Cotton Industry of Bangladesh and is located in Dhaka, Bangladesh.[1][2]

History
The board was established in 1972. It was charged the promotion and protection of cotton cultivation. It boosted cotton production in the 1970s through import of cotton seeds from the United States.[1] In 2015 the board tested GM cotton in Bangladesh.[3]
