Crazy Recipe Adventure (Korean: 볼빨간 신선놀음) is a South Korean reality cooking show on MBC. It airs on MBC starting from January 15, 2021 on Fridays at 20:45 (KST).[lower-alpha 1][2] The show aired two pilot episodes as an MBC Chuseok special in 2020.[3]

Format

In each episode a Korean dish is chosen as the theme. Guests are then invited to cook their own recipes which will be presented anonymously to the cast. If the cast member likes the dish, they will present a golden axe which will allow the dish to be tasted by the next person. If the member does not like the dish they will present a toad, which eliminates the guest and prevents the next member from tasting it. If all four members give a golden axe, the guest will be allowed to meet the cast and win an actual gold axe worth $1000 USD.[4][5]
