Creambell is an Indian ice cream company headquartered in New Delhi, India, established by the RJ Corporation in 2003. Creambell is located in 19 states in India.[1] Cream Bell brand has diversified in to the Dairy market with Milk and Value added dairy products.[2] Cream Bell footprint is spread across India and in international markets like Nepal, Bhutan with special emphasis on Africa (Uganda, Rwanda, Nigeria, Zambia)

History

The company started in 2003, in collaboration with French dairy major Candia. Creambell has approximately 15% market share in the Indian ice cream industry with a presence in 19 states which covers the top 40 cities in India. Creambell has four manufacturing plants across India: Baddi, Goa, Kosi near Agra and Asansol, and 35,000 retail outlets across the country. According to Creambell, the company has grown six times from 2008 to 2013.[3] In 2015, Creambell launched Maxxum Mini range of ice cream sticks in 2 variants: Pina-Orange and Chocolate Cookie.[4]

Awards and recognitions

Creambell was declared as India's most promising brand for 2013 to 2014 at the WCRC Leaders' Asia Summit held at Marriott Hotel in London's Grosvenor Square.[5] The company received the highest honor at the Great Indian Ice Cream Contest 2013 conducted by Indian Diary Association.[6][4] In the Great Indian Ice-cream Contest, from 8 categories of award, Creambell topped the contest with 4 gold and 2 silver. Apart from these 6 awards Cream bell won 3 best in the class awards.[7]
