Darshana Rajendran

Darshana Rajendran is an Indian actress in the Malayalam film industry. Darshana debuted her acting career as Anna in the 2014 Malayalam film John Paul Vaathil Thurakkunnu.[1] She gained recognition through her role in Mayanadhi directed by Aashiq Abu. Her rendition of the song Bawra Mann in the film went viral with over 1 million views on Youtube. She is also known for her roles in Virus, Vijay Superum Pournamiyum directed by Jis Joy, Koode directed by Anjali Menon & Thuramukham directed by Rajeev Ravi. Darshana also bagged character roles in Tamil films like Irumbu Thirai, Kavan.[2][3][4][5][6]

Personal life

Darshana Rajendran was born in Thiruvananthapuram to Rajendran & Neeraja. She has an elder sister, named Bhavana Rajendran, who is actively involved in English theatre based in Bangalore. Darshana did her schooling in Riyadh and Kochi, her first Degree in Lady Shri Ram College Delhi and her Master's degree in Financial Economics from City University, London.
