Dattadevi

Dattadevi was the wife and consort of the Gupta emperor Samudragupta.[1][2] She was the mother of Samudragupta's successor, Chandragupta II,[3] and possibly Ramagupta.[3] Harisena, Samudragupta's court poet and close friend, played an important role in the marriage of Samudragupta to Dattadevi.[4]
