Contents

Day of the Destroyer is a scenario where a villain plans to kill 90 percent of the people on Earth.[1]

Publication history

Day of the Destroyer was written by Scott Bennie, with a cover by Ben Dunn and illustrations by Joe Phillips, and was published by Hero Games/Iron Crown Enterprises in 1990 as a 32-page book.[1]

Shannon Appelcline explained that "One of the final fifth edition Champions supplements, Book of the Destroyer (2008), brought the whole line full circle by providing in-depth details on the villain who started things off years earlier in The Island of Dr. Destroyer (1981) and its ICE sequel, Day of the Destroyer (1990). The new Hero's strong focus on a vibrant superhero setting would pay dividends a few years later."[2]:145
