The Derivative and Commodity Exchange Nepal (DCX) is an Asian multi-product commodity and derivatives exchange situated in Nepal for commodity market in Nepal. Derivative trading in a diversified basket of commodities and derivatives including futures and options contracts on precious metals, base metals, agriculture commodities, energy, currencies and commodity indices. In Nov 2011 the Derivative and Commodity Exchange Nepal Ltd. was granted Company recognition by Company Registrar Office, qualifying operating licence by the Company Registrar Office of Nepal to operate as a regulated and licensed exchange. Recently, the Commodities Act was passed by the Govt.of Nepal and the commodities market are under full-fledged regulation monitored by the Securities Exchange Board of Nepal.
