Dhoop Ki Deewar is an Urdu language web series. It will be released globaly on ZEE5 as an original series. It is written by Umera Ahmad and directed by Haseeb Hassan. It stars Sajal Aly and Ahad Raza Mir in lead roles.[1]

Background and development

In mid 2019, the news about the web series of Sahad were circulating that Ahad Raza Mir and Sajal Aly are working on a Pak-Indo web series in direction of Haseeb Hassan.[2] In late 2019, Hassan revealed the other cast and details about the series.[3]

Fans were curious about the release of the series. It was common among the viewers that like other show of SaHad it will also be premiere on Hum TV but Hassan confirmed it that it will be a web-series and will be release on a digital platform. In July 2020, it was revealed that the series will be released as a ZEE5 original.[4]

Shooting

The shooting was started in the August 2019. Shooting was done in Lahore, Azad Kashmir, Karachi and Swat District. It will be the fourth collaboration of Sajal Aly and Ahad Raza Mir after their work in the major successful Yaqeen Ka Safar, Aangan and Yeh Dil Mera.
