The company's mascot, a male Dolly Guaraná bottle named Dollynho ("Little Dolly") which was originally drawn by Codonho himself, achieved great popularity for its CGI-animated appearances in TV commercials and became an internet meme in the mid-2010s.[1][2][3]

The company is currently facing a legal dispute with Coca-Cola and Codonho was arrested in 2018 under allegations of fiscal fraud.[4]
