Donna Cori Gibson

Gibson was born in New York City and grew up in Miami.[1] She began studying music and performance as a child. When she was ten years old she joined the Miami Choral Society, where she performed for four years.[2] She studied musical theatre at the Miami Performing and Visual Arts Center.[2] She later attended the University of Miami, where she studied jazz vocals, opera, business, and engineering.[2]

Gibson's music is produced through Golden Arrow Catholic Music and Media and EWTN.[1][3] Her album Divine Mercy Prayers was featured on the audio version of Saint Faustina's Diary, which was produced by the Congregation of Marians of the Immaculate Conception in Stockbridge, Massachusetts.[1] The production of her album The Way of the Cross was funded by fan donations.[1] Her music has been featured in the television programs Life on the Rock and Backstage on EWTN, New York;s Prayer Channel, and Shalome World Catholic TV.[2][4]

Gibson became a lay member of the Carmelites of the Most Pure Heart of Mary in 1999.[1][5] She is also a member of the Legion of Mary and the Militia Immaculatae and has been a guest speaker at Eucharistic congresses.[2]
