Ecuadorian ground dove

The Ecuadorian ground dove (Columbina buckleyi) is a species of bird in the family Columbidae. It is found in western Ecuador and northern Peru. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical dry forests and subtropical or tropical dry shrubland. It is named for the naturalist Samuel Botsford Buckley.
