Ede Herczog

Ede Herczog (25 August 1880 Pöttsching, Austria - 15 September 1959 Budapest, Hungary) was a Hungarian international football referee and coach.[1]

Referee career

He officiated 4 international matches and was FIFA referee in 1907–1912. He attributed a match in 1912 Olympic Games at semi final that played Denmark and Netherlands (4:1)[2] and others were in friendly matches.

Managerial career

He was manager of Hungary in 1911-1914 for 22 matches. He won 14, drew 5 and lost 3 matches.[3] Hungary team participated in 1912 Olympic Games with manager Ede Herczog that they was 5th place.
