Elmer Glenn Cooper
Elmer Glenn Cooper (9 May 1905 – 2 February 1938) was an officer in the United States Navy.

Born in Monticello, Arkansas, Cooper graduated from the Naval Academy 2 June 1927. A naval aviator, he served on board several Aircraft carriers. He died 2 February 1938 as the result of a seaplane crash off the coast of southern California.
USS Cooper (DD-695) was named for him.
