Elyas Ali Akbari

Elyas Ali Akbari (Persian: الیاس علی‌اکبری, born 29 February 1988 in Esfarayen, Iran) is an Iranian Kurash player and gold medalist in various international tournaments.[1] The -81kg athlete won a gold medal at the 2018 Asian Games in Jakarta, Indonesia as well as two gold medals at the Asian Championships in Pune, India and VII International Kurash Tournament in Shahrisabz, Uzbekistan.[2] IKA (International Kurash Association) named Ali Akbari as Best Kurash player of the world in 2018.[3]
