Emi Tanaka

Emi Tanaka (Japanese: 田中恵美; born 1970) is a Japanese former long track speed skater, who was active in the 1980s and 1990s.[1]

As a junior Tanaka became junior world champion at the 1988 World Junior Speed Skating Championships ahead of Claudia Pechstein and Shiho Kusunose. At elite level she represented Japan at the Asian Speed Skating Championships winning three silver medals at the 1994 Asian Speed Skating Championships; in the 1500 metes, 3000 metres and 5000 metres events.[2] She also competed at competitions in Germany and Kazakhstan.
