Erich Hubner
Erich Hubner is an American musician from Nashville, Tennessee. Capable of playing many varying instruments he is known for being particularly adept on bass guitar. During high school, Hubner was a member of several punk bands in Nashville, including The Enemy. He graduated high school after he and a friend, Jeffery Van Williams, took a trip to the deserts of the western United States. Upon their return, they formed Rumble Circus, a songwriting collaboration. They recruited guitarist Jeff Cease and drummer Alan Johnston to form the remainder of the group. Local popularity did not beget national attention although the group was heavily courted by labels. Jeff Cease left after three years to join the Black Crowes and the group continued several years prior to disbanding.
Hubner then became the lead vocalist and lead guitarist for Number One Family Mover, a popular Atlanta rock group, who were signed to 57 Records (Epic Records), the personal record label of famed rock record producer Brendan O'Brien. Hubner later joined Man or Astro-man?, first as "Alpha Clone" Chromo Crunch and later as a permanent band member under the name Trace Reading. Hubner is a frequent performer and recording engineer in the southern United States. Hubner is currently playing guitar and collaborating with Ani Cordero, former drummer for Number One Family Mover.[1]
