Eubranchus rustyus

Eubranchus rustyus, the homely aeolid,[2] is a species of sea slug or nudibranch, a marine gastropod mollusc in the family Eubranchidae.[3]

Distribution

This species was described from Monterey Bay, 36°36′20″N 121°53′04″W, California. It is considered by most authors to be a synonym of Eubranchus occidentalis.[4]

Biology

This nudibranch feeds on the hydroids Obelia and Plumularia.[4][5]
