Eugene Reynal

Eugene Reynal was an American publisher who founded Blue Ribbon Books of Garden City, New York and Reynal & Hitchcock of New York, New York in 1933.[1]

Louis Menand in the New Yorker writes of him that he 'achieved immortality the bad way' by turning down the opportunity to publish Catcher in the Rye.[2]
