History and profile

Founded in 1994 as a Financial Brokerage House by Jean Riachi, FFA was granted a banking license in 2007 by Banque du Liban.[1]

The bank also operates from within the Dubai International Financial Center through its subsidiary FFA Private Bank (Dubai) Ltd.[2]

The bank is Lebanon's leading Specialized Bank and, according to Reserve Bank, the bank is "Leader in Lebanese Capital Markets and High Income Asset Management, newly established offshore bank in Dubai as wholly owned subsidiary, typical private bank concentrating on the wealthy clients, has its own forex, futures and equity trading platform".[3]

The bank was the first Financial Institution to Launch a Tracker of the MSCI Arabian Stock Index, the FFA Arabian Growth Certificate and is an active régional player on film financing especially Lebanon-related productions such as Kahlil Gibran's The Prophet with Salma Hayek.[4]

The bank was named "Best Private Bank in the Middle-East 2018" by the Banker Middle-East magazine and "Winner Levant Asset Manager 2018" by the MENA Fund Manager magazine.[5][6]
