History
Brothers Martin Düssel (ca. 1690-1746) and Christoffer Düssel (ca. 1698-1770) were by letters patent of 3 August 1716 ennobled under the name von Falkenskiold (‘Falcon Shield’).
Christoffer Düssel von Falkenskiold
In his marriage with Else Sophie Bartholin, the younger brother Christoffer Düssel von Falkenskiold got one daughter, Else Margrethe von Falkenskiold (1737–1801), who married Constantin August Charisisius to Constantinsborg.
Martin Düssel von Falkenskiold
Martin Düssel von Falkenskiold married Dorthe Sophia von Schack (1710–1772), together with whom he had three daughters and two sons; Seneca Otto von Falkenskiold (1742–1820) and Arnoldus von Falkenskiold (1744–1819) of Sæbygård. Arnoldus von Falkenskiold's marriage with Elisabeth Sehested (b. 1751) gave the son Anders Sehested von Falkenskiold (1781–1841) who married Cathrine Hedevig de Leth (b. 1782) daughter of Lieutenant General Johan Frederik de Leth (1737-1817). They had seven sons from whom they had descendants.[1] [2][3]
