Faruk Rashid Chowdhury

Faruk Rashid Chowdhury is a Jatiya Party politician from Bangladesh. Former Minister of State for Finance. He was elected a  Member of the Parliament the Communist Party of Bangladesh for the 1987 first time from the Sunamganj-3 constituency. In 1988 the fourth parliamentary election form Jatiya Party, he was elected a second parliamentarian.[1][2][3][4]

Born in Sylhet, Bangladesh, Chowdhury is the younger brother of Humayun Rashid Chowdhury.

Political life

Faruk Rashid Chowdhury is a former leader of the Communist Party of Bangladesh and former Minister of State for Finance. He was elected a  Member of the Parliament the Communist Party of Bangladesh for the 1987 first time from the Sunamganj-3 constituency. In 1988 the fourth parliamentary election for the Jatiya Party, he was elected a second parliamentarian. Later he joined the Jatiya Party. He was defeated by participating for the Jatiya Party in the elections of 1991 and 1996.[1][2][3][5]
