Fatteshikast

Fatteshikast (transl.win by brave efforts) is an Indian Marathi language historical drama film directed by Digpal Lanjekar and produced under the banner of Almonds Creations in association with A A Films.[1] The film stars Chinmay Mandlekar, Mrinal Kulkarni, Sameer Dharmadhikari,[2] along with Ankit Mohan and Mrunmayee Deshpande in supporting roles. The music of the film is composed by Devdutta Manisha Baji and the soundtrack includes devotional song of Sant Tukaram.

The film depicts the historical encounter between Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and the subehdar and general of the Mughal army, Shaista Khan at Lal Mahal in Pune.[3] The principal photography began on 30 April 2019.[4][5]

Release

The film was theatrically released on 15 November 2019.[6][7]

Box Office

Fatteshikast had a decent opening at the box office. It reportedly collected around 0.65 crore (US$91,000) on first day. The collection rose to 1.17 crore (US$160,000) and 1.68 crore (US$240,000) on second and third day respectively totalling to 3.5 crore (US$490,000) and 5.65 crore (US$790,000) in opening week.
