Named for Katharine Felton, Family Service Agency's pioneering founding director, the Felton Institute for Excellence in Clinical Training provides clinical training in Evidence based practice to address complex mental-health and clinical social work issues.

The Felton Institute serves Family Service Agency of San Francisco as a central resource in the implementation of Evidence-based practice in every element of clinical social work and mental health service delivery, to maximize client recovery. Classes are taught by professors and clinicians who developed the original treatment methods.
