Fly Armenia Airways LLC (Armenian: Ֆլայ Արմենիա էյրվեյզ) [1] is an Armenian airline that was founded in October 2019 and received its Air Operator Certificate on July 2, 2020.

Its head office is located at 64/1 Gabriel Sundukyan Street in Yerevan.[2]
Fly Armenia Airways is an Armenian airline, based at Yerevan Zvartnots International Airport, created to provide both scheduled passenger and cargo services from Yerevan.
Fly Armenia Airways has received an Air Operator's Certificate (AM A070) on July 2, 2020 and was assigned the following designators: ICAO – FBB, IATA – VF and Airline Code IATA – 914. Fly Armenia Airways received its first, B737-400 aircraft on November 26, 2020. The main market for the Airline is the Russian Federation, in particular, Moscow (VKO), St. Petersburg, Rostov-on-Don and Novosibirsk. In the future, the flight network will be expanded by such directions as Marseille, Prague, Los Angeles, etc.
History
Fly Armenia Airways was officially founded on October 2020 as a joint-venture between Armenian citizen Bella Gayamova and London-based company Lincoln Transport Ltd.[3] The airline received its Air Operator's Certificate on July 2, 2020, however due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the airline had to delay operations until mid-December 2020. The airline has employed notable former Lufthansa experts to management positions, including Norbert Winkler as (CEO)), Silvio Uhlfelder as head of the commercial department and Valdis Dombrovskis as head of the ground-handling department.[3] The airline received its first aircraft on November 26th. The aircraft is a Boeing 737-400 leased from Ukrainian airline Yanair.[4] Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the airline has decided to begin operating cargo-only flights to Moscow.

The airline has begun performing cargo-only flights to Moscow's Zhukovsky International Airport in light of the COVID-19 pandemic.
