Folio (magazine)

Folio is "the trade magazine for the magazine industry."[1] The periodical's name is sometimes stylized Folio: magazine[2][3] and, in formal citations, referred to as Folio: The Magazine for Magazine Management.[4]

The publishing company name is Folio Publishing Corporation and, it also produces two special annual editions:

The magazine covers various financial and publishing aspects of the magazine publishing industry.[7] Many stories focus on a particular periodical. Folio is a "vertical" publication "aimed at people who hold different jobs within" the magazine publishing industry.[8]

Folio gives awards in various categories: The Washington Post's Annie Granatstein received Folio's Top Women in Media 2019 award;[9] The Post and The New York Times received awards in 2020.[10]
