Controversy

In 2019, a pastor of the church who was a lecturer and former sub-dean of faculty of art at the University of Lagos (UNILAG),[6] Boniface Igbeneghu, was filmed by a BBC undercover journalist investigating “sex for grades” at the University of Lagos.[7] The church immediately suspended him from ministry pending an investigation.[8]
