Frances Barth
Frances Barth (born 1946) is an American artist.[1] Barth is director emerita of the Mount Royal School of Art at the Maryland Institute College of Art.[2] Barth studied at Hunter College and graduated with a thesis on Henri Matisse and Islamic art.[3]
Collections
Work by Barth is in the collection of the Museum of Modern Art,[1] the Metropolitan Museum of Art,[4][5][6][7] and the Whitney Museum of American Art.[8]
