Francisco Henríquez de Zubiría

Francisco Henríquez de Zubiría (Paris, 1869 – 1933) was a Colombian-born French tug of war competitor, who competed in the 1900 Summer Olympics. He participated in the tug of war competition and won a silver medal as a member of French team.[1][2]

Son of Ricardo Carlos Henríquez and Maria Ana Antonia Clemencia de Zubiría y Osse, born in Paris but he was Colombian until his naturalization in 1917. He studied medecine and worked at the Colombian embassy in Paris, also serving as a doctor during World War I for French Army.
