Galina Marinova (artistic gymnast)
Galina Marinova (Bulgarian: Галина Маринова, born 1 November 1964) is a retired Bulgarian gymnast. She competed at the 1980 Summer Olympics in all artistic gymnastics events with the best result of 19th place on the floor; her team finished sixth.[1]

Marinova grew up in Bulgaria she started gymnastics at age 8. She started working toward an Elite career in gymnastics when she was in 5th grade. When she was in 7th grade she became National Champion. After that, she became a junior national team member.
She then qualified for the World Championships as an alternate but one of the gymnasts got injured so she filled in and she finished in All Arounds. After the World Championships, she started training for the Olympics in Moscow. She won in All Arounds at the Olympics and the 1981 World Championships.
After retiring she still had a passion for the sport so she decided to start her own gym in America. She called the gym All Olympia Gymnastics Center. which is located in Calabasas, California.
