Gangavathar

Gangavathar is a 1942 Indian, Tamil-language film directed by C. K. Sathasivam popularly known as C. K. Sachi[1] and produced by Sundaram Sound Studio, Madras. The film starred N. C. Vasanthakokilam in the lead.[2][3]

Plot

The film is based on the episode in Hindu mythology related to the descent of river Ganges to earth.

Writing in 2012, film historian Randor Guy said "The film did fairly well mainly due to its music and NCV's songs."[2]
