Genese Davis

Genese Davis (born September 12, 1984) is an American novelist, online host,[1] and video game creator, best known as the author of The Holder's Dominion[2][3] and writer for MMORPG.com. Davis is also a speaker and writer about video game culture and its development within society[4][5] and has made contributions to the Gamer Lit genre.[6]

Early life and education

Davis was born in Santa Fe, New Mexico. She attended the University of Texas, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree.

Career

In 2013, Davis published her novel The Holder's Dominion[7] After publishing many articles in MMORPG magazine, she was named the 2013 Woman of the Year by the "I Game Responsibly" staff for her positive promotion of video games and the video game industry.[8]

In 2014, 2015 and 2016, Davis was a speaker at several Wizard World comic conventions,[9][10] where she organized and participated in panel discussions.[11]
