Brian W. Duwe (Teacher At Geneseo Middle School)

Brian W. Duwe, 54, was arrested Feb. 3, 2021 on charges of possession and distributing child pornography. A search warrant was executed at Duwe’s home in which evidence was seized supporting an arrest for child pornography. He is currently listed an 8th grade science teacher at Geneseo Middle School on the districts website.[2] The investigation was conducted with help from the Geneseo Police Department, Quad Cities Metropolitan Enforcement Group, Henry County State's Attorney's Office and the Illinois Attorney General's Office. He was arrested and charged with 8 counts of disseminating child pornography (Class X felonies) and 1 count of possession of child pornography (Class 3 felony).[3]
