Davies is known for his skill at GeoGuessr,[1] a browser game in which one is given a semi-randomized Google Street View location and must guess where it is, and for his "straight line missions", a series of attempts to hike across countries (so far Wales twice and Norway once,) in as close to a straight line as possible.[2][3][4][5]

Davies registered his current YouTube channel "Geowizard" on 15 May 2015. As of February 2020, Davies has amassed over 600,000 subscribers and over 60 million views across all his public videos.[6]
