Giuseppe Ciaranfi
Giuseppe Ciaranfi (Pistoia, 1818- Florence, 1902) was an Italian painter.

Benedetto Varchi Reads His Storia Fiorentina to Cosimo I
Biography
He was a student and later taught at the Academy of Fine Arts, Florence. As a student, he had studied under Enrico Pollastrini.[1] Among his works is a painting of Benedetto Varchi Reads His Storia Fiorentina to Cosimo I (1862) and Suitor's Plea. Among his pupils were Alfredo Müller, Cesare Laurenti,[2] Augusto Bastianini,[3] Angiolo Tommasi and the Bulgarian artists Anton Mitov and Petko Klisurov.
