Gladys Egan

Gladys Egan (May 24, 1900 – March 8, 1985) was an American child actress during the silent film era. She appeared in 110 film shorts, between 1908 and 1914, including many that were produced by D.W. Griffith.[1]

Life and career

Egan was born in Manhattan, New York in May 1900. She was married to John Edson Jacoby until his death in 1948. Egan died in Lemon Grove, California in March 1985 at the age of 84. Her ashes were subsequently scattered by the Telophase Cremation Society of San Diego.[2]
