Golden Triangle of Art

The Golden Triangle of Art is made up of three important art museums that are located close to one another on the Paseo del Prado, in the centre of Madrid, Spain. Also, it also houses the offert of the Caixaforum museum which will be the headquarter of the National Centre for the Visual Arts in the Old Tobacco Factory[1]

The three art museums are:

  1. Prado Museum (Museo del Prado) — a National Museum featuring pre-20th-century art
  2. Reina Sofía Museum (Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía) —a National Museum featuring 20th century modern art
  3. Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum — a National Art Museum with a collection of historical through contemporary art, open to the public.
