Gracen Hirschy

Gracen Hirschy is an American ice hockey defender, currently playing with Linköping HC Dam of the Swedish Women's Hockey League (SDHL).

Career

Hirschy scored 66 points in 145 NCAA games for the University of North Dakota, being named an alternate captain in her final year.[1] She was named to the WHCA All-Rookie Team in her first year.[2]

After graduating, Hirschy signed with Djurgårdens IF in Sweden, getting 3 points in 5 games. The next year, she decided to stay in Sweden, and signed for Leksands IF[3] She put up 19 points in 34 games for Leksands, before leaving for Modo for the 2019-20 season.[4] For Modo, she scored another 19 points in 35 games, as the team finished last in the SDHL. She was suspended for one game following a collision with a referee.[5]

In July 2020, Hirschy left Modo to sign with Linköping.[6]

International

In 2013, Hirschy played in the U18 Women’s World Championship for the American national team, winning a silver medal.[7][8]

Personal life

Hirschy has a degree in political science.[9]
